Presbyterian Church of Ghana Nungua Calvary branch YPG to resume meetings with ‘Akwaaba Night’

The Young People’s Guild of the Nungua Calvary Presbyterian Church of Ghana is set to resume weekly meetings after a long hiatus due to the Covid 19 pandemic with a special event dubbed ‘Akwaaba Night’.

The event scheduled for today, September 23, 2020 will mark a get together of members after a long suspension of public gatherings which included church activities as part of measures taken by government to help curb the spread of the deadly virus.

According to the executive committee of the guild, organizing the ‘Akwaaba Night’ will help rebuild a long split bond amongst members who they say may have missed each other.

“This initiative is just our small way of ushering members of the guild back to meetings in grand style because it’s been a while we all merged in fellowship.

I am calling out to members to be present in their numbers and also as part of our efforts of winning young souls for the kingdom of God, I plead with them to bring along with them at least a soul each,” Vice President of the guild, Mr. Amos Aduamoah told Boom News.

He however assured that all laid down Covid 19 protocols will be observed wholly.

“Nose masks, face shields and all materials prescribed by government like running water, liquid soap and hand sanitizers will all be in abundance to ensure we are all safe not forgetting social distancing.”
